Open Light Studio's is a professional husband and wife team who give us tips each month on how to better yourself with the camera.

Here is June's Tip:

Framing

Look at how your subject is framed in the photo.  Are there distracting elements in the photo, like a tree limb coming out of their head?  Is your subject too small in the photo?  Seek to create an interesting composition with your subject by placing them slightly off centered to the picture.  Be creative and try new ways of framing. This will make your photos more dynamic.
