Family Kitchen: Cheesy Potato Casserole

Cheesy Potato Casserole


1/2 cup chopped onion
1 bag Ore-Ida (southern style hash browns)
1 stick butter
1 can cream of mushroom
8 ounces sour cream
2 cup mixed cheese (your favorite. I use Mexican mix) only use 1 cup in the mix. save the other cup for the top.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix everything in a bowl. Then spread in a 9x13 dish. Top dish with about another cup of cheese. Bake for 45 minutes.
You can cover for 30 minutes and then uncover for the last 15 min.
