April's Tip:
Lighting
Lighting is key for creating a good photo. Always keep this in mind! The worst lighting is with flash. Avoid using your flash at all costs. This means take most of your photos outdoors. When shooting outdoors, shoot at a time of day when the lighting is soft, not harsh. Times of day when the lighting is soft is in the early morning, the late afternoon, and overcast days.
